Water-resistant to 200 m 

Ultra-stringent manufacturing checks and rigorous tests of operation TAG Heuer watches down to a depth of 200 metres (1000 metres for the 1000 M model).

Screw-down crown 

The screw-down crown, water-resistant to 200 metres, has a double safety joint to exclude moisture and dust. It also prevents accidental change of time or date. The case shape has been specially designed to protect the crown against shocks.

Double safety clasp

All TAG Heuer bracelets are fitted with a double safety clasp which prevents accidental opening. A built-in bracelet extender system on the F1, 1500, 2000 and 4000 Series, enable the watches to be worn over sports clothing or a diving suit.

Unidirectional turning bezel

The studs and easily readable numerals enable any time interval to be set accurately and dependably for subsequent measurement. Rotation in one direction only makes for greater safety: any accidental manipulation would cause the remaining time to be shortened and never extended.

Sapphire glass

The TAG Heuer models are fitted with an exceptionally robust sappire glass; this material is used in space technology and can only be scratched with a diamond.

Luminous pointers

The reference marks on the bezel, pointers of the dial and hands are specially coated to guarantee excellent readability even in little or no light.
